Experience

  • Freelance journalist since 2019, with bylines in Southern Living, Food & Wine, Bon Appetit, The Wall Street Journal, National Geographic and The New York Times, among other publications. I have also served as a judge for the James Beard Foundation. 
     

  • Former general manager at Sidecar, which created professional development for the association industry. I oversaw content, marketing, membership, live and virtual conferences, and sales and growth strategies.

  • In nearly seven years at The Times-Picayune, I worked around the newsroom, including as arts and entertainment reporter, lead reporter, breaking news editor and metro columnist.
     

  • Interned at The Republican-American and The Times-Picayune.

 

  • Graduated from LSU, cum laude, with a degree in mass communication and experience on The Daily Reveille's copy desk and as editor-in-chief of the quarterly student magazine, Legacy.
